SENGER Cuddly Animal - Drake Small w removable Heat/Cool Pack

The SENGER Cuddly Small Drake is a soft and cuddly toy that doubles as a weighted toy and a gentle heat bag for children.

The SENGER Small Drake has a removable pillow, filled with either cherry stones or grape seeds, that can be placed in the oven or microwave to heat, or in the fridge to cool. Once it has reached the desired temperature, simply place back inside the zippered pouch. Perfect for those cold nights in winter or when someone is sick with a belly ache.

The weight of the inner filling acts to provide a calming effect and give your little one sensory feedback. Warmth and weight, the perfect combo.

The SENGER Cuddly Small Drake features an organic cotton outer layer, pure lambswool filling, 2 sewn on eyes and a nose and designed especially for little hands to grasp. A beautiful addition to any collection.

Full details when warming your Spelt Husk pillow:

• Open the zipper at the bottom of the animal's belly to remove the spelt husk pillow. (NOTE: only ever heat the pillow and not the whole animal).
• Oven: Place the pillow in the oven at a maximum of 75 ° C for approx. 2-3 minutes.
• Environmentally friendly and gentle at the same time, the pillow can also be warmed on a safe heater (check your heater is safe to do this).
• NEVER heat in the microwave, otherwise it will burn!

WARNINGS: Make sure that the pillow never gets too hot. There is a risk of burns on the skin or the risk of a child or baby overheating. If pillow is overheated, the pillow may start to burn or ignite. Children and babies should never be left with a heated pillow without adult supervision.

You may notice your spelt husk pillow does not hold the heat as long as the cherry or grape seed pillow. Spelt husks are simply the shell of spelled grains, and it is the air between the husks that warms up, not the husks themselves. With the cherry stone and grape seed pillows, it is the actual seeds that warm up, and these will hold their heat longer than the air between the spelt husks. A bonus with the spelt husk pillows is that air warms quickly, and simply cuddling your friend will produce warmth.

We recommend hand washing with mild detergent or wool detergent. Please do not wring, rub or brush. After washing, squeeze out carefully and leave to dry lying on a towel.

If the animal gets dirty, you can first remove the coarse dirt with a brush. Since we only use natural fibers of the best quality and no polyester, heavy washing is usually not necessary. Since our dear little animals are filled with pure sheep's wool from the Eifel, we generally recommend hand washing with mild detergent or wool detergent. Our little ones do not tolerate strong spinning, natural wool felts well, leading to irreversible clumping of the wool.

The water temperature should be cool and plenty of water should be used. Dissolve a little wool detergent in the water, and then move the animal loosely in it. Before doing this, however, you should soak it with clear water of the same temperature. Please do not rub, brush, spin or wring when washing. After washing, squeeze it out carefully and let it dry on a towel. The wet smell of wool disappears after drying. When drying, move the animal regularly, this makes the drying process easier.

The animals stuffed with cotton can also be washed by hand or in a gentle wash cycle in a mild detergent. Again, avoid using strong spinning, otherwise too many lumps will remain in the cotton. Basically, small lumps can also occur when washing by hand; this cannot be avoided with natural fibres.
