Yak and Yeti, Nepalese Finger Puppet Set
Made ethically from sheep wool, the set of finger puppets are our beloved Nepalese monikers: the Yak and the Yeti. A yak is a long-haired wild ox that is found in the Himalayan region, and a Yeti or the Abominable Snowman is an ape-like creature from the Himalayan folklore.
There are few animals or mythical animals that symbolise Nepal as much as a Yak and Yeti. In the valley of Kathmandu, you will come across many businesses that have the names of Yak and Yeti.
Proceeds from the sale will go towards Maiti Nepal, an organisation that protects Nepalese girls and women from child trafficking, domestic violence and exploitation.
Create an amusing pretend playtime with our finger puppets, an all-time favourite among toddlers and kids. Be sure to check out our other finger puppet sets too!
The finger puppets are designed by us and made in Nepal from organic sheep wool.
